Getting Good with AI: The End of the Beginning π©βπ»π€
What's happened. What comes next. How to get involved.
In April 2025, we asked:
How can we help people like us get good with AI?
We wanted to understand how it actually works (why its maths, not magic), how to prompt better, reduce hallucinations, build βAI teammates,β and even start connecting LLMs into early automations.
Luckily I managed to persuade prompt-Queen, Cien Solon to join me, and together we ran a few workshops, and got some great feedback - mostly summed up by:
βWe need more help.β
Enter Henry C. Blanchard - startup teacher, super-geek, to complete our team.
We launched the first 6-week Good with AI cohort in June. 25 curious, talented humans signed up and off we went.
Yesterday we completed our 4th and 5th cohorts, and hereβs where we are now:
π‘ 110 people are now Good with AI!
π§ 30 x 90-minute live demo / build / share sessions
π 1-to-1 onboarding and mentoring
βοΈ 100s of custom flows, prompts, and creative builds
π° Β£50k revenue
Most importantly β the evidence and confidence to say: Let's start a new human-led, education company and community to help 1000s of people and teams navigate this fast changing world of work.
Whatβs worked so far:
β
Focus on practical outcomes, good ethics, and keeping it creative
β
Make it fun and community-driven (quizzes, challenges, targets)
β
Deliver in real time - human first, AI-powered, adapting as we go
Whatβs next?
Iterate and improve...
π― 4x free masterclasses over the next month to check out what we do
π 3 x new cohorts launching Jan 2026 (including our first in-person)
π Fortnightly: Good with AI club for all our grads - learn, build, improve
π Weekly: a short, easy-digest newsletter to help you get good with AI
Huge thanks to all our early adopting students who took a punt on us, and to those who shared, or championed Good with AI so far - youβve helped shape something genuinely useful.

p.s Yes, we used AI to edit this post. But the first draft was us.
Keeping the human in the loop is key to getting good with AI.
